Meditron: Advancing Low-Resource Medical AI
Researchers from EPFL and Yale School of Medicine have collaborated to develop Meditron, a suite of large language models designed for low-resource medical settings. Leveraging the power of Llama 3, Meditron surpasses most open models in its parameter class on benchmarks such as MedQA and MedMCQA, setting a new standard for AI performance in the medical field.
